Since the 2006/07 season, drama teaching at the Schaubühne has been offering young people the opportunity to spend one year as an assistant getting to know the Schaubühne’s work within the framework of the voluntary year in culture (FSJ) scheme.

The volunteer’s work consists in research, assistant directing of the youth club, the preparation and the follow-up of workshops and a theatre project with school children.

Candidates must be recognised conscientious objectors and have applied to the national union of youth cultural education (LKJ Berlin).
