Theatre pedagogy at the Schaubühne offers many opportunities for you to approach our productions from a different perspective.
You can take part in a lecture to get to know the background of the production and how it developed. Every month there are »Theatre practice workshops« which are open to everyone. Through play, you can immerse yourself in the content and aesthetics of the plays and be led through them step by step.
School groups can take part in specifically tailored workshops which complement the classroom and give them personal access to a production. In addition, the Schaubühne enables the public to make direct contact with the ensemble in talks designed for this purpose.
Drama tutor Uta Plate also leads a long-term school project (TUSCH) as well as the youth theatre group »The Zwiefachen« to help Berlin youngsters, mostly from assisted housing projects, conquer the stage as a platform for themselves.
